Cheap Christening Places for Brunch
Any recommendations for Suffolk County? I'd like to do a breakfast/brunch...very low key and extremely affordable.....

Captain Bills in Bayshore has a really nice brunch. We had that for my engagement party. Everyone loved it.

For DS's Christening/1st Birthday party we did lunch at J&R steakhouse in Islip. It was EXTREMELY affordable, the room was semi-private (max # of people was 40 i think) and the food as GREAT. It was just under $20pp including tax and gratuity. I highly recommend them and they have other locations on the island. I believe the stonybrook location can accommodate up to 100 people. The price is the same at all the locations and you can find the menu on their websiteJ&R Steakhouse

We did Shandon Court in East Islip for DD#1's Baptism luncheon and will be going there again for DD#2's luncheon. Their basic 4 course sit down lunch is $27pp.
