Cheap brown desk?

Anyone have any suggestions on where to find a cheap brown desk with built in storage? I checked Ikea (299), target, walmart (139), any other suggestions for a low low price point. Honestly, it doesn't need to last any longer than a year or two. We are in a rental apartment and likely won't stay here for too long.

How about Craigslist?? We got a dining set from there that is great shape, for next to nothing!

I bought a Solid wood desk from Craigslist for $50 that was originally sold at macys for $500. The desks top had some scratches so I refinished it but otherwise it is perfect. I would look on craigslist before buying a crappy desk made out of particle board from Ikea or Walmart

Staples has a bunch in their stores.

You might want to go to some furniture stores and ask about floor samples.

Over the years I've gotten phenomenal deals on what would have been expensive furniture pieces from places like Gothic Cabinet and stores on Rte 110 by buying floor samples that are in almost new condition (a few dings) but the price is slashed down.

I got a desk that way from gothic, as well as a corner cabinet piece for my eat-in kitchen, and an entire Broyhill dining room set.

staples has some cheap desks, just bought one for my my office at work

We found out cheap brown desk at Staples (after going to about 10 different places all up and down Rte 110!)
