Chart help! **UPDATE! - ff changed my chart**

Okay... FF went back and changed my O date once it got a few new temps. Now they say I O'ed on the exact day of my IUI. Perfect! Look at this beauty:



I'm used to my charts being 70 days long with an up-down-up-down zig-zag and no ovulation. So happy to see this! Yay Clomid!

Does your RE monitor your hormone levels too via blood tests? That should also be able to tell them more accurately when ovulation is occurring.

Unfortunately I don't chart, I usually just use an opk and my RE does lots of blood monitoring for my hormone levels. Stay positive for now.

The RE checked my hormones every 4 days. On CD 18 he said that I was surging.

I know that I should trust my RE more than a web site, but my instinct is that this was really off.

Hey, in any case I'm happy to be O'ing at all, so, that's good.

Here is what I'm thinking:

Tomorrow if you temp again and it's high, there is a chance that FF will change your O date to the 19th, which it looks to me could be your O date based on what your bloodwork said, and the sono you had indicating the follie size. I have had cycles where FF changed my O date after a few more temps.

As for the EWCM drying up - I always ovulated a day or two AFTER seeing ewcm. For most people, the ewcm is prevalent leading up to O and not necessarily on the day of O. Don't worry too much about that bc the IUI assures that the sperm is already entering the cervix.

I know it's hard not to dwell on it and rethink all of the different possibilities, but it sounds to me that your RE was pretty much on target, especially if they saw that large follie and an LH surge in your bw. Temping is not really fool proof - especially if you have been taking meds. They can make the cylcles very wacky, which is why there is always a possiblity that FF will change the date.

I think FF is wrong. If they saw a follicle on a sono on CD 18 then you could not have ovulated on Day 17. You probably ovulated late on day 18 or on Day 19. Try not to overanalyze it.
I had similar feelings during my first IUI cycle. I went one day for monitoring and they didn't have me come back for 3 or 4 days. I was convinced I was going to O before they had me come back and worried the entire time that they messed up! They were right on target. I think it's normal to stress- we've been doing so much to watch our cycles, it's hard to trust someone else to do it for us! Good luck!

Thanks for the help! You guys are right - it sure looks to me like the coverline is wrong. It looks like it should be at 97.7 degrees, which would have me O'ing on CD 19. Why ff thinks it's 97.4, I have no idea! But CD 19 was ideal for my IUI then!

The temps are still a little low for my liking - last month when I O'ed, they jumped half a degree really clearly about 2 days after I O'ed. for a high temp tomorrow...
