I have been there and LOVED it. I actually lived near there for 10 months. Definitly walk around the town and straw market. Go on a carriage ride. There is a fun haunted ghost tour. The beaches are nice. If you like wings there is an awesome place across from the market. All the restaurants are good....I unfortunately cant remember the names. I'll try to look some up and reply again.

If I were going...I'd do a plantation tour. I'd love to see them. I hope to make it there one day...it seems soooo beautiful there.

Have dinner at Anson's- make sure you have a reservation.
It is so yummy.
The open air market is fun to walk around and take a walk along the battery- that is GORGEOUS.

charleston is great- i liked the beach - its big and long and wide
also i just found that by walking around, you can find many things on your own
definitely one of my fave cities!

We loved charleston, We had to concel our honymoon b/c DH's father got very ill. So we went to Atlanta to visit him. On our waty back we stopped in Charleston for a 2 night honeymoon. IT WAS AMAZING!!! We stayed at the Charleston Place.
You must go to dinner at La Mistral (so romantic) and the Oak (the best steakhouse we have ever been to)
