Changing pads
So dh and I wanted to use a piece of furniture we already have due to space issues and not wanting to get rid of the piece soooooo we are going to just get a changing pad for the top.
Now my question is in order to secure the pad does it put holes in the furniture that are noticeable and is it really easy to secure the pad. If not the piece may have to just go into storage

Changing pads
I never fastened mine to the dresser. And I have never had an issue with it being unsafe. I do not leave DS on the table by himself so its just not an issue.

From babysitting I have had little ones who wiggled so much the pad slid around that's all I was concerned about. Don't want it to slide off the table and get diaper goodies all over yuck lol

Changing pads
My changing pad has two tabs that attach to the back of the dresser. It still moves quite a bit but won't fall off the dresser.

Mine clips to a slit that is in the back of the dresser. It still slides around, but rubber shelf lining helps a bit!!

same - just using non-skid material under the changing pad.

I screwed mine to the back of the dresser. It's completely out of view.
Also, I have one of those foam mesh-like shelf liners that people put in their kitchen cabinets underneath my changing pad. It prevents the pad from sliding around on the dresser, and it does not damage the finish of the top of the dresser.

Same here. I didn't want to put any holes in the furniture.
