Changing out a thermostat?

How hard is this to do? I think my thermostat is broken or stuck at a certain temp. The heat comes on but I can't seem to change the temp in the house. It's an old round one...

DH changed 2 of them yesterday in 20 minutes. He said it was super easy. He said most of that time was spent programming it, not even changing t.

Re: Changing out a thermostat?

I used to think they were ALL super simple (I've done several myself), but a coworker just bought a new house, and he said the old thermostats used 110 line voltage for the thermostats. Most use a low voltage, so now he has to figure out how to convert the voltage to work with the new units.
