changing locks
Anyone pay a locksmith to change locks when they closed on a home?
I've heard changing locks can be tricky, so I wondered if the locksmith was reasonably priced to do it for me.

This. It's not hard at all and locksmiths are super expensive for a 10 min job.

Re: changing locks
I've changed a dozen locks or so. The last set I did was at my mom's house. Two outside locks, one of them was the fancy pushbutton electronic lock. Changing out the two locks, and teaching her how to use the electronic one was maybe 15 minutes total. I can probably do a simple swap in about 2 minutes if I really had to.

We'll be changing the locks ourselves. It's very simple.
