Changing her diaper has become a wrestling match...need tips!!!

She will NOT lay down for me for anything...I give her things to play with, NADA, she wants to sit up..which doesn't really go over well when you're changing a diaper with poop...when I stand her up she'll stand but want to sit...I need changing tips and fast, before my changing table and her crib become a mess every diaper change!

must have props...I give her a toy, cream, another diaper....anything to hold get her attention...it works sometime

Going through something similar here. DS wants to roll over while changing him. I try and give him something he usually doesn't play with. It usually works. At my Moms, it is the remote for the ceiling fan! After many years as working as a Nany, I have learned to change diapers very quickly and in many different positions...But the poopy ones are tricky!

I've been going through this with DD for months now and its not getting any easier. This kid would rather sit in a pee & poopy filled diaper than have a clean one on. I give her everything, including shoes because she loves velcro. It keeps her occupied for a little bit but once she gets bored, she tosses it.

I wish I had some advice, but you are definately not alone
