Changing Heartrate

My babies heartrate has consistently been in the 150's. Today it was in the low 140's. I know its fine, but I just want to get some reassurance.

Re: Changing Heartrate

I was just at the dr today and my baby's heartrate was 148, and it was usually in the high 150's.

The DR said as the baby grows it is not unusual for the heart rate can get lower. Also depending on what time of the day you monitor it can also affect it.

My baby's heart rate fluctuated from 150 to 140's in one dr's visit. He kept moving all over and she kept gettig different rates. She reassured me its perfectly normal.

Re: Changing Heartrate

When it was monitored at 13 weeks, it was 155, and when it was checked at 16 weeks, it was 135. I was concerned, but the doctor said it is completely normal as the baby gets bigger.

Same here. 1st HBs were high, one was well over 160, so I thought girl,. but every appt after that is has been going down. I said to the dr, "oh thats lower than last time", and she said as long as they fall within a 120-180? range all is well.

Re: Changing Heartrate

Our baby has been at 128, 169, 140, 155...all over the place...it is fine and totally normal. Your heartrate doesn't stay the same, neither will the baby's, depending on what it is doing in the womb.
