Champagne Toast In Hospital
Ok ladies, silly question BUT I know our families are going to bring champagne after baby is born to at least do a very simple small toast, is it safe to have a sip after delivery or should i stick to sparkling cider?

Absolutely! I think it's totally fine to have a glass of champagne. And if you're not BFing, feel free to drink even more, lol.

I actually read this in one of my two pregnancy books this weekend. It was included in the section on what to bring to the hospital  I totally thought it was a good idea and I think a glass is totally fine

Do it! My BIL brought a bottle to the hospital but it was the last thing I wanted at the time and I felt bad. I told everyone else to toast but they said not til I was ready. This time...I will be toasting! (And BFing..and I'm not concerned one bit.)

I planned on doing this but was too drugged up (had a c/s). I did drink a bottle of wine the day I got home from the hospital though.
