CFA New Moms Group
I requested the info for the new moms group that CFA (Childbearing Family Alliance) offers. They are in Smithtown. Its for Moms of newborns 0-3 months old. Has anyone done this before? I am interested in getting out and meeting other moms in the area. Any other ideas on where to find groups?

I tried a music class there when DD#1 was about 15/16 months old. The place looked really cute. Also I used to babysit for a set of twins in high school that went to pre-school there.
As far as new mommies groups I know my ped always has a sign up in their office about a new moms group. You can try through the hospital you delivered at or even your church might have one.
