Century 21 Returns

Does anyone know how Century 21 is with returns? I bought a pair of shoes at the beginning of the summer and haven't worn them once. That being the case I want to return them. Will they take them back without a receipt? I'm perfectly fine with getting store credit.

I got this off their site,

We gladly accept returns within 30 days with the original register receipt, price tag attached and merchandise in original selling condition (i.e. not worn and in original packaging). We do reserve the right to require photo ID for returns, and to limit returns due to certain circumstances, including unusual frequency, excessive dollar amounts, and/or returns in multiple stores. Returns are not accepted after 30 days. Open packages of socks, tights, pantyhose, and underwear; bathing suits without sanitary liners; merchandise that is used or worn; christening sets purchased more than one day earlier; and merchandise that is sold as Final Sale cannot be returned for any reason.

I wonder if you said you got it as a gift and see if you could exchange or get store credit for it
