Centerpiece/favor pics

Sorry to crash the boards, but I am in the process of planning my SIL shower. I was wondering if anyone could post a pic of your center pieces and favors for some inspiration. Thanks!

I dont have a picture but my mom did potted plants in the middle. She got these cute pink metal planters (i am having a girl) and packed it with soil and a pink plant. It was a big hit. the plants were some of the giveaways/prizes for the games.


i found this picture online... its a little similar... except my moms planters were cuter, more baby showerish... they had a little handle and were baby pink, some with white polka dots and her plants were very short and more outdoorsy... like tiny plants with little flowers.

i forgot to mention favors... she did hershey kisses... plain silver ones and baby pink ones... and wrapped them in tulle.

For game favors she had a whole tray of assorted gifts (notepads, note card sets with pens, change purses, work gloves, sponge holders, pashminas, etc) and then let people choose whichever one they wanted when they won something.

Probably doing flowers in short vases for my shower. For favors we're doing cookies by Kim's Cookies.

I don't have pics, but for my sister's shower we did mums for centerpeices (her shower was in October), we wrapped the pot with tissue paper and but blue ribbon around it. For favors, my sister wanted to do donations, we made donations to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital and we also made lollipops.
