how are schools/taxes?
drove around it yesterday, near the bay, and through town...looked so cute!

Its ok. North of Frowein Rd is not desirable. Within Center the general consesus is the the Holiday Beach area is the nicest.
Schools are mediocre, taxes are average, although one year recently they had an unexpected 30% increase. The high school is having problems with heroin from what I've heard ( my younger sister is 17 and her BF is a senior there).
You could probably do better for the money in Manorville or Eastport.
