Celebrity Century
Has anyone ever been on a cruise with this ship? I'm trying to find out what kind of activities/entertainment is on the ship, but I can't find much detail on the website. Some other lines have rock climbing, water rides, mini golf, etc. and I was wondering if this ship had any of that.

Re: Celebrity Century
I have been on this ship 2 times - once when it was brand new and once for our honeymoon in a sky suite back in 2004. It was NOT a new ship back then. If you are looking for a ship with all the amenities it is not for you. It is a nice ship and celebrity is a great line - but it is a small older ship and celebrity really doesn't offer the things mentioned like RCCL and other more younger lines do.
I will say that we had a great cruise but there isn't the activities you will find on larger ships (even larger Celebrity ones).
Have you looked into their newer class of ships like the soltice?

Re: Celebrity Century
My parents go on tons of cruises and always on the Celebrity line and they are here now and said that Celebrity is more of a older crowd without all those activites. My mom suggested Carnival or Norweigan. She also suggested the cruise critic website, you can join and enter the cruise ship and it will give you a ton of info. HTH

Re: Celebrity Century
Just chiming in with my agreement with the previous posters.
Celebrity is a great line, a step above Carnival, RCCL, and Norwegian in my opinion. But it does cater to a more mature crowd, and the shipboard activities (especially those on the smaller ships like the Century) will be somewhat muted.

Re: Celebrity Century
Thanks, everyone. I've been doing tons of research, and I think that I'm going to do The Norwegian Sky or Royal Caribbean Monarch of the Seas.
