catering question - how much food? - update - please take another look. thanks!!
having a party for 50 people ( 33 adults, 18 kids). want to cater food that doesnt need to be heated, so thinking of heros and side salads.
is this enough food? 3 feet vegetarian 3 feet italian 3 feet american side salad of macaroni salad side salad of italian bowtie pasta greek salad a tray of spinach pies
i can also get trays of veggie/dip, fruit salad, chips/dip.... but i still feel like its not enough. but not sure what else to get.
help! ----------------------
UPDATE - the guest list increased. now 40 adults and 20 kids. kids are mostly in the age range of 1.5 - 6 and a few older.
this is the plan now: 3 feet vegetarian 3 feet italian 3 feet american side salad of italian bowtie pasta greek salad a tray of spinach pies 2 plain large pizzas 1 veggie-topping pizza 1 meat-topping pizza 4 dozen garlic knots w marinara sauce on the side
i will have them cut the pizza slices small - the pizza is mostly for the kids, but i know the adults will have some too.
is that enough? now that the headcount increased, im wondering if i should get another hero. maybe a more plain option - like turkey and cheese .
thoughts?

catering question - how much food?
I would do a potato salad, pickles, maybe cold chicken salad, a tray of cheese and crackers and meats, For the kids I would do a tray of PB&J sandwiches

catering question - how much food?
I would do either the macaroni salad or the bowtie pasta along with potato salad.

I think they say a 3 ft hero is good for 12-15 ppl, so you might be a little light on the amount of heroes, depending on whether you have a lot of big eaters in the group and the ages of the kids. I think if you add what pp suggested you'll be ok - chicken salad, cheese platter, or something like that

Re: catering question - how much food?
Just a suggestion...I have been getting my heroes uncut and cutting them myself (I use my electric knife). I think that most places cut them too thick. I would rather be able to eat 2 smaller prices of different kinds than one huge one.

I would probably order more plain cheese pizzas, I feel like kids will eat that vs. the sandwiches.
