cat owners

My male 12 year old cat has a history of crystals. I saw bloody urine in the litter box. which I admit does seem to appear every once in a while, he's on the hills c/d.


I called the vet to schedule annual exam, they suggested senior wellness exam $192

I called another vet, they said it was $85.

My q's :
Do you get the senior wellness exam ?
What does it include ?
What tests would you have them do for crystals ?
How much does it cost ?


TIA!!!

I think an overall check up is due, but I hate the $ discrepancy. Im also afraid these tests may not answer the blood in the urine.

my vet charges less then that- and my 9 year old male has the same issues and my vet is wonderful and saved his life
