Carry On Luggage Question
I have one of those hanging toiletry cases with clear sections. Can I put my shampoo, conditioner, liquids, etc in that or do I need to put it in a quart ziploc bag separate?

3 oz each and they must fit in a quart size ziploc.
From the TSA website

Re: Carry On Luggage Question
It doesn't "need" to be in clear ziplocs, but it helps. I had my 3-ounce clear bottles, etc. in my make-up bag. Leaving NY, no issues at security. Coming home (FL), my bag was pulled aside and had to be hand checked. She explained that it's harder to pick up what it is when it's not in a ziploc, so it slows down the process and has to be checked. They do ask you to take the ziploc bag out of the carry on and place it in the bin separately as well.
You can use what you have, just take it out of the carry on and put it in the bin separately, like you would for laptops, etc.
