Carriage/Pram

Does anyone have one? I remember loving when my mom had it for my brother. Obviously, it is not good to travel with, but for walks in the neighborhood, it would be perfect. But they are so costly.

IF you have it what are your thoughts?

ETS: Actually, I should put this on the parenting board.

Re: Carriage/Pram

We have a Pram by Emmaljunga Chat Icon It was passed down to us in the family. It is in great shape and we can't wait to use it. We bought The Laura Ashley Travel System in addition because like you said the Pram is mainly for a quick stroll not traveling.

I couldnt imagine going anywhere with it besides for a walk.

I wouldnt spend the money to just walk with it.. but if you have the money to spend, they are adorable

Re: Carriage/Pram

I actually have an original Silver Cross pram that my mom had when we were kids. It is beautiful. Although my mom would like to think I stroll through the neigborhood with it, i never did. When Jack was a newborn it we used it as our downstairs crib and he would sleep in it while we ate or whatever. It worked really well since you can rock it and it is nice and small and cozy like a basinett.

Re: Carriage/Pram

i love the prams too! I saw that Peg Perego makes a Pramette which is a little smaller and not as expensive. Has anyone seen these? I happened to walk by one at Buy Buy Baby.
