carpet stain help

DS face planted into the carpet while drinking a berry smoothie (blueberry/strawberry). He is fine (after five minutes of screaming hysterics) but the plastic part of the cup popped out and 8oz of smootie seeped into my carpet. I sopped/blotted up what I could and tried carpet cleaner. Still a huge purple ring on my oatmeal colored berber. I used Dawn dishsoap and scrubbed with a brush...still there...as a last resort I have actually sprayed it with scrubbing bubbles bathroom tub cleaner its still there...anymore advice? It is of course in the middle of the floor...did I also mention that I rent...

I know the feeling!! Although it's because of my pup! She has a very long tail that has knocked over many of drinks....including many glasses of red wine!

Go get a bottle of Resolve Triple Action Spray....works amazing!

Soak the stain with this stuff....let it sit a couple of mins and then get a scrub brush and brush it in good. Spray it again and let it sit and soak in. You should see the stain come out almost immediately as you're scrubbing. No need to blot dry...just let air dry and then you can vacuum as normal!

we got a bottle from the company who steam cleaned our carpets. this stuff gets EVERYTHING out. I just ordered 2 more bottles b/c i finally finished the bottle I had gotten 3 years ago.

it gets blood out of carpet, it should get the berry stain out. (i had a cut on the bottom of my foot and didnt realize i left a trail of blood through our bedroom. got everything out.)
