Carpet Cleaning - DH thinks I'm crazy...am I not remembering correctly?
We have been renting a coop for the past going on three years. After the winter we had, 19 month old son, and two cats, my carpets are filthy. Before we moved here, we rented another coop and recall something about the carpet cleaners having access to their truck and it being an issue because we didnt face the street. DH think I'm nuts and doesnt have any idea of what I'm talking about. Before I start calling around (or if someone could give me a recommendation in the Selden area) I would like to know what to alert them to before hand. I am pretty sure some places were going to charge me extra because they needed to use different machines. Am I losing my marbles here?

Your marbles are in tact. I came across the same thing a few years ago too. I don't recall if there was an upcharge for using a different machine but it didn't seem like a big deal for the guys to do the carpets.

I know that when we had our carpet steam cleaned yesterday, they ran the tube out to the truck, so that would make sense that they would need different equipment.

Nope you're right. When we got our carpets cleaned in our old apartment they ran the tube out the window and into their truck. So obviously if there's no window to face the street (where the truck is) they'll need to use different equipment.
