for the past month or 2, I have been noticing these TINY little things that look like mini beetles I usually find them on the wall, but I think they're coming from the carpet. they move at a snails pace and are the size of a pin head, but ewwwwwwwww!
anyone know how to get rid of them?? I swear we are not slobs

Re: Carpet beetles
I once saw a special on TV about bed bugs and beetles. I would bleech all your bedding (and clean it) and also clean the carpets. If that doesn't work, def call somebody in.

Re: Carpet beetles
You may have larder beetles. I just had them in my apartment. They were all over and definitely by the windows. I think they were appearing more because of the heat. The only positive is that they are so slow that killing them is not a problem. I read that they come from a food source but can move around the house quickly. This past Friday I threw away almost everything - pasta, flour, crackers, old cereals, etc. And they are gone! You can try putting larder beetle in google, pictures of the little buggers come up (that was how I discovered my problem).

Re: Carpet beetles
Oh no! Sorry it's not larder beetles. During my internet search to discover the name of my bug friends, I found several websites that identify bugs for you (sooo many freaks out there!). Maybe you could try one of them - just try using google with words like - little black bugs, small beetles around the carpet, etc.
