Carpenter Ants
We had our inspection today, for the most part it went very well but the inspector (Victor from WIN) informed us that there were carpenter ants outside the home around the foundation as well as in the basement and the water closet (where the sprinkler system is) in the basement. The homeowners will have to have this exterminated before closing.
how do we go about making sure that they do not come back?!?!

I would get an exterminator to come spray once a month and look for the nest and get rid of it. I hate carpenter ants, they are like bodybuilder ants.

they are disgusting. our agent is finding out if we can get a contract for after they initially come in and spray for the remainder of the year so that we won't have a problem. they do look like body building ants!
