I graduated from Carle Place SD

Carle PLace SD consists of all of Carle Place (which is just one square mile), a small little part of mineola , and part of westbury...

The district
smallest on the island. All 3 schools k-2, 3-6, and 7-12 share the acreage. Average class size when i graduated 6 years ago was b/w 100-105. i think its up to 105-110 now...So in other words, you know EVERYONE!!!!!Many teachers there actually went to school there. No one ever moves! kids go to school, get married, then send their kids there Seriously, many teachers i had taught my friends parents or were friends with the parents back in the day
0ver 90 percent go on to higher education
MANY AP and honors classes
MANY sports and activites

town
carle place is a little older. houses are smaller but many are being dormered...taxes are around 7k

westbury/cp schools
i live here...beautiful. newer houses, bigger lots but my parents taxes are around 10k

CP school district would be my ideal district to raise my kids. i live in westbury right now and we're literally right on the border of the westbur and cp sd. we love the area we live in now, close to parkways, our Church, our parents, malls, etc. since i dont like westbury sd, we are looking to move to cp sd or westbury with east meadow schools.
