..Carbon Monoxide Detectors
Do you have one?
My brother and SIL called my parents at 3AM this morning to tell them that theirs was going off. My SIL is 9 months PG and due very soon, so, of course my parents jumped and thought "This was it"...
Anyway, turns out my brother's oil burner has been leaking (I guess a slow leak) and that is also why my SIL has been getting headaches off and on.
The guy came today and they need a new burner.
So scary. I am telling DH we are going ASAP and getting detectors! Im just glad they are OK

yes, we have 2. My sister had a CM leak that was about a day away from being at a toxic level.

we have 2...one on each floor of the house
Ours went off a few months ago...my mom came home and it was beeping. She tried to reset it but it keep going off...so she called the fire dept and them came and tested it. They said it went bad AND that we should have one on each floor.
