car seat installation help
So my DH and I attempted to install our car seat, its so far in the back on the passenger side. It seems so not stable. Its reading that is level and we used the latch system. It feels like the side facing the front seat is not stable. Any advice? I am going to try to get it checked, but in case I have this baby before that happens, anyone that knows what they are doing would be helpful.
thanks

I went here too. Mine was incorrect also. They made it much tighter. I did notice that when they did it, the leveler thingy was off. When I pointed it out, they said that unfortunately that thing does not work for all cars. The alignment of my backseat actually works against the little bubble. I was told the best way to tell if it's level is when the baby is in the seat, if his/her head slumps forward, it's not correct. It is now in my car and it's is very much secure. When I did it, I could move it around.

I have an appointment on July 9th at LIJ, but dont know if I will make it until then. They work with Safe Kids which is an organization that does car seat checks. I worked with them many years ago so I felt comfortbale and now I am anxious because I dont know these other places. Go to the safe kids website and they can tell where they are doing car seat checks and when.
