Car Seat
When did you or are you planning on setting up the car seat in the car?

DH just did it this past weekend. He used the Latch system, and it doesn't seem very secure side to side 
Anybody else have this problem? DH is going to take it somewhere where they inspect car seats.

I almost have two weeks left and DH put the car seat on about two weeks ago.
Anniegr-to answer your question, I agree with you that the latch system is not secure. We have two car seats for both of our cars and they move side to side. I asked my sister and a friend of mine if they had the same problem and they said yes. So I am assuming it's normal.

If you want, you can install the seat using the seatbelt. My car is a 2002 and it just missed being installed with the Latch system. It did however have the hook (anchor) on the top in the backseat, so we hooked it up to that and then just used the seatbelt. It didn't budge an 1/8" of an inch. You don't have to install it by the latch. I had my DH install it because you have to kneel on the base and then tighten it at the same time, so since he did it, it didn't move once! Good luck!

I took it to the 2nd precinct a couple of weeks ago. they will install them for free as a public service. they do it one day each month. I felt much better knowing that it was done right. no second guessing. You just have to call ahead for an appt and provide them with what type car seat it is and the make and model of the vehicle. It was terrific!

I went to Garden City and had it done....they do it one Saturday morning every month.
Bedda call your local police station and ask them

with my first baby my husband did it when he came to pick me up from the hospital lol its not like we didnt know ahead of time when we were gonna be induced he just was busy I guess or lazy
