Car sear base edited w/another question
Is it THAT hard to move the carseat base?? The infant carseat I chose (The First Years Via), doesn't seem to have an extra base for sale. I chose it b/c it got the top rating for ease of use, and I love The First Years Wave Stroller that it goes with...
Im going to SAH, so the infant seat will be in my car MOST of the time anyway, but if we do decide to take DHs car, is moving the base THAT hard? I have no clue about this since its our first...
Do Convertible car seats also need extra bases...or is that just for the infant seats...sorry Im so clueless...lol...thought I had this all figured out when I registered, but this extra base thing is throwing me for a loop.

Re: Car sear base
Most bases are initially installed improperly and it is for the safety of the baby. I wouldn't chance moving it back and forth from car to car, this is just my opinion though.

I am pretty sure convertible car seats don't require a base, they are installed using these tether things that are on the car seat.
