Car rental through BJs

I am trying to rent a car in California and drop off at a different location than pick up and the prices are so high. I see BJs is the least amount. I am not a member. Has anyone rented a car with them? Also, do you have to be a member to get the price?

You were able to search the car rentals on the site without any membership info? I might have to look into them!

I have a BJs membership and usually book through them. They have never asked for a membership number or to see the card when I've picked up so I think anyone can do it.

Yes. I just went on the site and they were $100 less than the lowest estimate I got.

Re: Car rental through BJs

it is so expensive to rent in one place and drop in another. We have to rent in Atlanta and drop off in Raleigh. I have to do this in the fall. But its a bit of a pain, but we are renting a car for three days in atl, then returning it and picking up a new one for the drive to Raleigh and returning it there. it made it SO much cheaper. it was going to be over $100 a day otherwise. So we get the one car for 3 days at like $40 a day, then it is $75 for the one day pick up and drop at a different location.

I am doing two different drop off and pick up locations too..in California. Never realized how pricey this is.

Picking it up in atl, using for 3 days, and then dropping it back at atl and renting another to drive to rdu is SO much cheaper. Its a pain that we have to drive to atl to return and pick up a new one, but it is saving us a couple hundred dollars.
