I always found this the best time of year to buy a new car...so for those in the market here are some tips I've learned.


Learn the Lowest Cost.
You must find out what the dealer paid for the car so you can negotiate the price. (for $14 you can get this info from Consumer Reports New Car Price Service.
The Invoice Price on the sticker is NOT what the dealer paid...its provided to the dealer from the manufacturer.
You need to learn about National, Regional, Local Rebates, Unadvertised Incentives and Holdbacks that the dealer recieves from the manufacturer.

Never Mention that you have a Trade In...until after you have negotiated the price of your new car.
