We are taking the kids to Thomasland mothers day weekend and we are going to stay in Cape cod. We have never been there. Any recommendations on things to do or see with the kids? Ages 1, 3 and 4. We are thinking of staying in Brewster.

We stay in Chatham every year. Chatham has a cute village with a candy store my son loves. There are whale watching tours you could take. If you want more touristy things, Yarmouth and Hyannis have a lot more going on...mini golf, go-carts, arcades, etc. East of those towns gets a bit more rustic. The beaches are awesome in all of those places. You could also ride out to P-Town. That's a fun place to walk around. There's also the Cape Cod Brewery and Cape Cod potato chip factory tour. I believe both are in Hyannis. There's also a Cape Cod minor league baseball team. If that's your thing, check out their schedule.

The Cape Codder has an indoor waterpark area (smallish). I would check it out.

Re: Cape Cod

We go to Cape Cod every year. There are seal watching tours which are fantastic and calmer than the whale watching tours. We always stay in Brewster at Ocean's Edge. Nickerson state park is right in Brewster and has some fun walking trails. You can also rent bikes and go on the rail trail. We always have fun mini golfing though your kids might be too young for that. Chatham is a cute town to walk around in. There is also a pirate cruise designed for kids that sails out of PTown. That's also a fun town to just walk around.
