Can't Focus
I know its a side effect of what we're going through plus the hormones, but I just cannot focus or pay attention at work and I HAVE work to do:) - I just look at the clock waiting for one day to be over to get to the next, and can only concentrte like 10 minutes at a time. Anyone else like this?

Re: Can't Focus
Yes I am. I feel like my days are separated by doctor's appointments for monitoring, the phone call with that days instructions and then actually doing the meds. Everything else is a blur!

Re: Can't Focus
Glad to hear I'm not alone. Your right, between the side effects and then waiting for the calls, its just crazy - I wonder if its good to be at work, sorta distracted or if it'd be better to just be at home or shopping b/c this being in an office, with a computer to look things up constantly and waiting for the phone - ugh.

Re: Can't Focus
OMG. I am so glad someone said this, b/c this is exactly where I am.
Meanwhile, there is a ton of crap to do in my office, I am totally unmotivated. I have a ton of stuff to do at home. It's overwhelming.

Oh yes...it never ends. Worrying about one thing and then the next. Totally normal, just try to stay busy!

Re: Can't Focus
WHen I am in the daily monitoring phase of my cycle, it is the absolute worst. I hate it.
Can't focus. Can't get motivated to get anything done at work or at home.
And, better yet, if (when!) I am successful on this journey, I won't be able to focus then either. I was 9 weeks pregnant once (naturally) and I was even more unfocused than I am during treatments.

Re: Can't Focus
Tell me about it. For me, its just putting things in perspective. Who cares about things that happen at work when we are involved in something as enormous as this?
