Cancun during Feb break
Am i crazy to want to go and start looking a little late? How $$ can it be? Lol

Airfare to ANYWHERE that week will kill you.
We looked into going to Florida last year and the airfare was over $2K for 3 of us.
To fly to freaking Florida.

Airfare will be very expensive not just because of the week but because of how close to date of travel you are.

Cancun during Feb break
Last year our family vacationed in Cancun during President's Day week. We didn't join them because the airfare was over $800 pp when we look around in Dec. Then we searched last minute for flights about 4 days before President's day and the price dropped. Ended up paying about $400-$500 per ticket. We flew AA. It couldn't hurt to check last minute. The weather in Cancun was perfect in Feb.

We used my SIL's timeshare at the Westin Lagunamar. Highly recommend this place. It wasn't AI though.

Keep checking the prices, we just booked flights w AA direct to Cancun for $200 round trip!!! Going in 3 weeks so I guess it's kind of last minute. Of course it'll be more for presidents week but watch the prices you might find a good deal!

Staying at the Occidental Xcaret, got a good price and reviews look decent on TripAdvisor.
