Cancos Tile

We are re-doing 2 bathrooms and our contractor recommended we go there. Has anyone used them, and any feedback?

Re: Cancos Tile

I bought my airjet tub from there. I was happy. I would have bought the marble but it was backordered.

Re: Cancos Tile

My kitchen tiles are from Cancos. I luv them, except for the fact that I should have picked a darker tile. They have nice stuff!

Re: Cancos Tile

I purchased my kitchen floor & backsplash from them and am very happy with the purchase. They gave me a 25% contractor discount even though my contractor wasnt involved in the purchase. And when I only needed a few extra tiles to complete the floor, instead of making me buy an extra box of each size, which is how the manufacturer sells them, they ordered me a few samples of each, thus saving me a few hundred dollars.

Re: Cancos Tile

We went in to look and the salesman told us he didn't think we would be able to afford the tile we wanted!! Chat Icon We were dressed casual, but nice. Foolish of him, b/c we ended up buying tiles at HD Expo double the price he told us we couldn't afford Chat Icon

Re: Cancos Tile

we had a similar experience with the staff there, as Ricki...we a stood around for 20 mins and not one person would help us. we finally left and went to another tile place and were much happier with the tiles there.

LMAO! Is that a tile place thing? I went to another place (I forget the name but its across from the firehouse in Freeport) to look at tile and there was no price on it. When I inquired, the salesguy actually wouldnt even tell me the price - he just said it was very expensive and takes a long time to come in. I ended up seeing the same tile elsewhere and it wasnt that expensive at all. Moron!

ETA: The Cancos I used was in Merrick and they were very helpful

We just got our kitchen tile at cancos and had no problems and found them to be very affordable.

Re: Cancos Tile

I was happy with the service I received there. We bought tiles for our new kitchen backsplash and we are very happy with the product.

However, the grout they made us buy was not the right kind (at least that is what my contractor told me). So, we wasted $15.
