can you replace grout?
we have white subway tiles in our bathroom, but whoever installed them (former homeowners redid the bathroom about 4 years ago), decided to use dark grey cement looking grout in the two rows that are above the edge of the bathtub. All other grout is white, but for these two rows.
it's really shoddy looking
can a contractor remove the 2 rows of tile and replace them without cracking/destroying the rows of tile above it?
we have a box of extra tiles they left us also
if you know anyone who does this.. could you let me know?

my DH just did our entire shower stall by himself. He is not a tile guy but he is super handy & it came out PERFECT ! The worst part is scraping out the old grout.
ETA: He couldn't use the tool from that video because the tiles in our shower (most showers) are closer then 1/8th of an inch. So he ended up scraping it out with flat blade screwdrivers that he had to keep sharpening. But it got done  .
You could also use a metal sawzall blade but do it by hand.

I think they have some kind of pen or something that u can change the color but yes you can definitely scrape it out and redo it...

We used a triangular scraper to file the grout down so new grout could be applied.
