Can you recommend...
a hairstylist in the Farmingdale area? I'm not looking to spend a 100 buck on a cut, but I want someone decent.

I just had my haircut by Angela at the Ulta on Hempstead Tpke. in Levittown, (the salon is in the back of the store) and was very happy. It was $40 for wash, cut, and blow dry.

Thanks, I didn't know Ulta did hair cuts, I always thought it was a beauty supply store.

I didn't either - and seriously only scheduled an appointment because I was desperate for a haircut, and found out they were open until 9 during the week. I was happy I did, and their hours definitely work for me.
I was afraid they'd try to sell me every product in the store, but there was no sales pitch at all.

I go to Evette at Kimera Salon in Hicksville. She is on the corner of Old country rd and S. Oyster bay rd. I love her!!

I know it's not in Farmindgale but I go to elle at soto salon on deer park ave in deer park. Hair cuts are $35 and she's great
