Re: Can you please share your delayed vaccination schedule?
(the purple is the alternative schedule) Its not exactly our schedule, but close enough
our ped basically made up a schedule that is spaced out like this, and we just follow it
Dr. Sears Vaccine Book, is a great book
eta: I will not delay MMR, if my ped said at 1y, we will give it at 1y. There is no rational reason to delay it. But I will not give it at the same time as any others.

I guess what I follow for DS is similar to what was posted.
I just don't give more than 2 shots per visit, so we have in between visits to make up what is missing.

Re: Can you please share your delayed vaccination schedule?
I give 1 shot per visit.
No rotovirus vaccine. No flu shots (although I may give them next year...they will be 4 and 2) No chicken pox (until they need it for kindergarten). MMR is delayed. The hep. shots are delayed until after the important shots are given (DTaP, Polio, PCV & HIB)

Re: Can you please share your delayed vaccination schedule?
every vaccine on schedule except delayed the mmr and varicella till 4 yr. its a personal decision and happy with it. there is a new vaccine too prevnar 13, dd got that as well. when you split up the mmr and varicella you have to wait 3 months to give the other, so she got 1 mmr recently in 3 months she will get the varicella and before kindergarten she will get her 2nd mmr.

I agree with the Dr. Sears book and that some peds push too many vaccinantions at once. I don't follow the Dr. Sears schedule though - I follow my own peds since he only does 2 shots a month and only one shot is reactive. WIth just a few modifications of my own.
I do not agree that there is no rational reason to delay the MMR. Maybe, that is the decision the ped made for HER child but, as a blanket statement that is just incorrect.
