Can we talk down comforters and duvets?
I would love a comfortable comforter that is washable and cover options. What can you suggest?

I got both my down comforter and duvet covers (different colors) from overstock.com and I loooooove it!!

Most down comforters are macine washable (from my experience) When my cat had a sickness experience on my bed, I took my (what I consider to be) very expensive down duvet, and my duvet cover to the local laundromat and threw it in the big machine. It came out great. I think I spent the equiv of $300 on mine.

check out BBB. I bought my down comforter and duvet from BBB. Then I was able to use 20% off coupons too.

companystore.com has many that are washable. It's the only way to go IMO, I have one and love that it's not $$$ to clean it.

I LOVE my down comforter and would never not use one! I have 1 light and 1 heavy weight. you can't beat down for softness and warmth - and it adjusts to your body's temperature. love love love that!!
I also love the fact that I can throw the duvet in the washing machine instead of dealing with washing a huge bulky comforter.
