Re: can we talk Christmas menu??

We're hosting Christmas Day for 15 adults and 1 toddler! It's going to be a full house, I need to get a move on menu planning too!

So far I know my MIL is making rice balls and SIL is making clam dip.

DH & I haven't even talked menu yet. But so far I'm thinking....

Appetizer

SIL's dip
Bacon Crescent Wraps
Fontina Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Dates

Dinner

Lasagna or baked pasta for 1st course

some kind of protein
String Bean Casserole
Mashed Potatoes
MIL's Rice Balls

Dessert

Tiramisu
Pastries my aunt brings

Obviously I have a long ways to go as far a menu planning still. Chat Icon

i have a great egg bake that you make the night before...it has to refridgerate overnight and then you just pop it in the oven in the morning...it's soo delish.
don't have the recipe right in front of me...let me know if you're interested and i'll dig it up for you.

it's lots of eggs, bread, butter and cheese! it's delish!

I'd def make a spiral ham since it can really go brunch or lunch. Also some kind of quiche or frittata maybe. A french toast casserole, pumpkin bread.....
