Can we talk about gas?
DS is 7 weeks and terrible gas. He will cry after a bottle for 30 min (sometimes longer). I've tried the Playtex bottles with drop in liners but it takes him double the time to eat and he will often times not finish his bottle. I'm thinking of trying Mylicon (or a generic ... ). Any other ideas or suggestions?

Re: Can we talk about gas?
For the 1st 3 months or so we used gas drops at every feeding. We used the target up and up brand. They are much cheaper.

Re: Can we talk about gas?
Logan loves the grape flavored Mylicon, some days I'll use it 3-4 times

Re: Can we talk about gas?
My son went through at exactly that same age! It lasted about 3 weeks- same as you said, for about 30 mins. after each feeding. We started giving him Mylicon after every feeding which DRAMATICALLY helped the situation! After about a week of this, we stopped giving it to him and haven't had to since. He's almost 4 mos. now and no more gas problems! GL!

Re: Can we talk about gas?
Mylicon drop it in every bottle. Gripe water after if he still needs help.
Admittedly, his gas issues where all deemed normal, but I rather him have time to share smiles with me than be grunting over a gassy tummy. We have so much more play time now
eta: we tried almost every kind of bottle, nothing really made a noticeable difference for us. But I love the Playtex ventaire bottles. DS takes a long time with them too, but I think that's a good thing, he doesn't seem to overeat. And I love that there don't have any flow after a few gulps, so DS has to suck to get his food.

Re: Can we talk about gas?
We used Dr. Brown's bottles, with 1 tsp. of gripe water in each at EVERY feeding. Made a huge difference.
