Fresh as in just cooked is okay -
Depends on your doctor as to whether you can eat deli meats if you mean as in Turkey or Ham sandwich

My doctor said to eat them in moderation. Don't have them everyday and to go to a deli that has high turnover.
Personally, I can't stomach meat, so I haven't been eating them.

Def ok to eat, watch the sodium content ( your deli should be able to give you information on the meats) and its rec to heat them before eating them. to kill any bacteria that may be on them ( listeria) . I eat Boars head- dr said that is the best and safest. I have only eaten turkey or roast beef. Cheeses I go with Alpine.

NO cold deli meats if you want to avoid a very serious risk to your baby. If you cook them to steaming hot they are fine, but cold there is the chance of listeria which would be tragic.

Yes, plenty of people eat them and get lucky. I'm sure some of us have driven in cars without seatbelts as well and had no problems. Not all deli meat is infected, but there is no way to know and there are so many other foods in this world!

my doctor said as long as they are boars head & they are from a reputable establishment, they are fine in moderation due to the sodium content.

I just ask that question to the Dr. today because I have not been eating much meats.
She said Turkey Boar's head is fine. Just get low sodium.
