Can this be done???
I am having some health issues and need to go to the doc. I am kinda tapped right now and can't afford to go and pay a ton of money. Starting April 1st I will finally have full health insurance. Can they see me now and just not bill it til April or is that illegal?? I am going to call the doc tomorrow, but thought I'd check here first. Thanks!!

Unfortunately, I don't think anyone would do this for you. At least not that I've ever heard about.

No, they have to put the date of service on the claim and I dont think anyone would do that for you.
Try the hospital clinics..When I had no health insurance I went to SB hospital..paid $20 a visit.

Where are you located? My friend just found a great walk-in place that was pretty cheap and he gave her the antibiotics for free because she had no health insurance.

That is illegal, but Ive had a dr do that for me before when I was in a similar situation. I guess it depends on your relationship with the dr.
