Can teething cause vomitting?
DD was acting really off on Sunday and I chalked it up to teething. She is cutting one tooth that i can see and who knows if she is cutting others that I can't see. She had her hand in her mouth, was crying and screaming etc.
She ate and drank fine- albeit a little less than normal- but that's not unusual for her.
Sunday night she went to bed was fussing ever hour- again, chalked it up to teething.
At 1 am she was crying really bad and wouldn't stop so i went in. She was COVERED in puke from head to toe
and felt super warm. I cleaned her up, gave her some motrin, brought her in bed with me and within an hour she was sleeping fine and stayed asleep until 8 am
No more vomitting or fever since.
Could that be teething related or do you think virus? I would say virus but it came and went so fast- she is like 100% fine now and eating normal, no fever, no vomitting after that one incident.

I had almost the same experience with my DD and was told that it was not from teething. It was virus. And she actually started throwing up a day later again after I thought she was fine so just keep a look out Hope she feels better!

Ugh... yeah I didn't think teething could cause vomitting- I heard diaherra from the excess drool- but not vomitting. I think it probably was a virus. Wonderful! Just hope it doesn't run rampant through the house now. DH is a bigger baby than DD when it comes to being sick!
