Can someone recommend a dehumidifier?

The lower level of our house is often damp and this year I would like to use a dehumidifier...especially since the warm weather will be here soon.

Any input will be much appreciated!
Thanks!!!

Thank you. Does it work in more than one room at a time? I have 2 rooms down here that are open to each other...no doors separating them...and am wondering if only one would work for both.

When I had a basement apt., I got a Kenmore from Sears. It worked great - I had no problems at all and it makes a HUGE difference in the amount of humidity.

They do work for more than one room, but you might want to get a slightly larger one, with a bigger reservior, so you don't have to empty it as often.

We bought a Santa Fe Dehumidifier for our basement. The thing is great!

Thank you for all of the responses!

If you don't mind me asking...can you let me also know what the prices were?

We also bought one from Sears, though I can't remember which one. We bought one that has a large resevoir so we only change it once in a while and it works for the entire basement, even though the room is split into two...
