Can someone please explain...
why babies fight sleep so much? She was asleep on me, as soon as I placed her in the crib she was screaming bloody murder. I really loathe nap time.
It's so frustrating. I don't know what to do. I'm so tired myself.

How old is your dc? Can you try wrapping them for naps? That way they dont feel the difference in heat when you put them down? My first used to nap on me for hours until i discovered this! His eyes would pop open the second i moved him away from me!

She's 9 months. It's not everyday that naps are difficult.. just when I really really need her to sleep lol. Or maybe that's the only time I notice it.

I found that when I would be stressed about "WHY AREN'T YOU SLEEPING!!!!! ARRRRGH!" my anxious energy would transfer over to him and he would be awake, and stay awake.
So, I just started holding him at nap time while I watch Bravo. I'm calm, I zone out, & he falls asleep. Once he's out I put him in the crib.

She's just been playing in her crib. Which is weird because she has no toys in there lol. But at least she's not crying anymore.

Re: Can someone please explain...
She's still awake... and she's been fussing. I don't know what to do. I feel like a terrible mom. I know I'm not but I'm so freakin frustrated. I usually nap when she does because I work nights but if she won't sleep then I can't sleep. Seriously, it's 2:30 in the afternoon and I've been waiting for her to sleep. I gave up on her first nap and we played and had lunch and now I'm really starting to stress because I can't sleep.
