can someone look at this for me?
My doc is out of town for the week.
CD 3 labwork results
FSH 5.2
LH 8.1
estradiol 67
is there any other reason other than PCOS that my LH would be elevated?? i don't fit the profile at all!!!
anyone have similar labs? TIA

As far as I know-no other reason. PCOS can develop at any time and you can have all teh symptoms or none of teh symptoms. My Dr. does a 2 hr fasting glucose tolerance test to definitively answer that question. Good thing is-it is one of the most curable issues in IF. Metformin and/or clomid usually help. GL!

thank you! i just can't believe it! i have always suspected PCOS but threw it out because i felt i didn't fit the profile.. but its funny... i was on the atkins diet and workng out like crazy when i got pregnant with my 2 youngest.. and the first one was by clomid and IUI.. no diet no working out.. i wonder if that is coincidence.

I read a study that said for some people clomid works just as well as metformin in fighting PCOS and the low/no sugar(carb) diet probably did help! Youc ould try doing that again or South beach maybe.
