Can't help you w/ specifics but my MOH speech rocked. She took experiences that were special to us & like the date of our engagement & places we been & then made it all into a poem that rhymed & was funny. A lot of other people didn't get the inside jokes, but we were hysterical.
I'd do something from the heart.

If the bride and groom's parents are still married then you could also mention how many years they've been together - that's a nice touch and it's a sweet way to include the parents.

My sister was my MOH and I have to say she wrote an amazing speech and had me laughing and crying throughout the entire speech. It was extremely personal she really brought up a lot of awesome memories. It was actually shocking because my sis is very quiet but I have to give her credit she kicked a$$. Depending on who this person is to you I would try to add little stories and memories to it. She'll love it!
