Can someone help me?
Last week (almost 9 days ago) my RE called and said my blood work showed that I ovulated. My progesterone the first day was 2.4 and it jumped the following day to 7. He told me to wait about 10 days and AF should show up (not here yet).
I had blood work done on this Monday because I was at my regular GP and figured it couldn't hurt to see what my levels were. My GP just called with the following:
FSH: 3.4 LH: 3.8 Prog: 14.2 Estradiol: 165
According to her, my FSH and LH are that of the follicular phase, which makes NO SENSE considering I still haven't gotten my period. Since I "ovulated" (according to my RE) I am really in the luteal phase. WHAT IS GOING?!
I just put a call in to the RE and am waiting for a response. I don't know what to think at this point.

Re: Can someone help me?
the thing is, your progesterone looks like you're in the luteal phase? I don't know what the FSH and LH look like thoughout the cycle, but you progesterone is up and your estrogen is not quite that of a mature follicle (not sure if it drops slowly at the luteal phase or not), so it does look like you O'd.

Here is a chart of what is considered "normal" hormone levels.
With a progesterone over 10, it seems to me you ovulated. When you had your blood drawn by the RE you may have been ovulating then - did they check to see if you were surging?

I was just looking at that chart! Based on the #'s, I'd say you are in the luteal phase right now.
