Can someone explain to me what this company does?
My friend has an interview with this company and neither of us can even begin to understand what the heck this company actually does? What does it all mean? Help!

A majority of the people I used to work with work there!
If you are a financial company that invest/trades stocks trade stocks you need somewhere to settle them. You need someone to deliver the stocks, reconcile with the "street" (the market) and settle the money that was paid for thost stocks.
Ridge clearing holds your books and records and helps you settle the trades.
Does that help? It is hard to explain.
I am a trader;s assistant (Assistant Vice President of Operations ). I dealt with Ridge Clearing all the time. They were our operations and settlement people.
