Can it be?
Just to see what would happen, I put dd in her crib just now because I knew she needed a nap.
She went to sleep!!!!!! Almost immediately, and not one tear!
I give her 20 minutes...

As a fellow catnap mother, this is a great beginning...Bella goes down now and sometimes takes an hour 
She knows when I put her down I mean business and it's sleepytime...she doesn't go 100% of the time, but I am very attuned to her NEEDING a nap now, so I don't mess around...
Glad she's napping, it's hard NOT to watch the clock though especially when she is up at exactly 30 minutes sometimes...

that's what we did one day......I put her in there asleep and she kept on sleeping!!!
 maybe she'll actually LIKE it and sleep LONGER

AWESOME!!! Keep up with consistency and MAYBE she'll keep sleeping!
I honestly feel that some babies prefer their own space and I think that some don't like the "roominess" of the crib early on. They get bigger, the crib seems smaller and therefore they "fit" better.
